World Travel Market Africa opens registration for the trade

World Travel Market Africa has opened registration for inbound and outbound travel professionals.

WTM Africa will offer attendees sessions featuring senior speakers from the African Business Travel Association, Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Digital Tourism Think Tank and Travel Bloggers Unite. The Responsible Tourism Programme, put together by Professor Harold Goodwin, will also form a key component of the sessions.

Exhibitors from Africa include Namibia, Zambia, Swaziland, Réunion Island and Botswana. Travel technology companies, hotel groups, safari operators, tourist attractions and destination marketing companies will also form part of the show. Registered exhibitors include Amadeus, Timeless Safaris, City Lodge Group, SANParks, Acacia Africa and Dreams 4 Africa.

“WTM Africa is progressing successfully and I am extremely confident the show will deliver high-quality content for the growing African tourism market,” said Exhibition Manager, Polly Magraw. “We are delighted with the number of people who have shown an interest so far. I’m sure this will be reflected in positive registration numbers and will lead to a highly fruitful event for all.”
