Mar 20, 2014

The Kruger National Park, Limpopo, has reopened the Balule Satellite Camp as well as the Sirheni, Bateleur and Shimuwini bush camps, after heavy raised caused closures earlier this month.

SANParks has advised that Talamati and Biyamiti bush camps, the Olifants Trail Camp and the Nyalaland Fly Camp are still closed and will be reopened today (Wednesday, March 19), while the Wolhuter and Boesman trails camps will be closed until Saturday, March 29.

The Sable Hide and the Crocodile Bridge Gate are open. The Tshokwane and Pafuri picnic spot are also open.

A number of gravel roads in the Marula region as well as the S64 from Punda Maria to Thulamela in the Nxanatseni Region are still closed. However, the main camps are not affected and the park is still accessible.
